//as if I wasn't a big enough nerd... :blush:

Congratulations on the ham ticket. I did the ham thing years ago.

Made it over to Michigan and now I am blissfully back in the center of Cheddar again with a stop near home. Mrs. Oldsaw picked me up and we had a nice two hour lunch ;)

Next load has me heading out east to Hatfield, MA. They will be blessed with some of Cheddar's finest cheese.

Slow day really from the looks of things.

No doubt. I would try to liven things up, but I'm about to start a movie, I think. Here are some possible topics for discussion for y'all:

1. Best college team in the nation, Florida or Alabama (no others can compete)?
2. Who's your favorite president of the U.S. from the past two years?
3. Pants: necessity or frivolous indulgence?
4. What's the best use of Cheddar?
5. How much better is Windows 7 than Linux?

That should liven things up a bit.

You weren't the only one. It's why Vista will be quickly forgotten. The core technologies aren't bad, and it's time to move on from XP (now almost ten years old), but man Vista sucked.

Apple was really able to make some hay from the Vista debacle -- now the question is, will they be able to sustain it against Windows 7? Will Ubuntu's numbers grow too, or will people be willing to buy/pirate Windows 7 instead? We'll have a clearer picture in a few months, I think.

Yeah, mine is a '78 that I bought off of my sister in law's dad for 75 bucks. No motor, no transmission, but lots of great plans for it! I'd try anything, but I think I'd grow frustrated with fewer available players to chew over. Five or six teams seems like a great number, at least for this first year player! I can see how it'd remove lots of the skill factor for folks who actually know what they're doing, though. Head to head does sound like fun -- maybe next year!
