I'd like to take a moment and apologize if anything I've said, anytime, anywhere, on any topic, has directly offended, or been taken as a barb or shot at anyone.
I've never taken any pot-shots at anyone, unless in a joking way, that, in my perception, was understood as such from all parties, which has not been but a few times, with but a very small pool of people, that can be counted on one hand.
And any time I've questioned or wondered anything of the mods' decisions/actions, I've done so with very strong sense of respect for what they do, and only question the "in front of the scenes" results, never questioning the quality or character of the mods, in full knowledge that there's more behind the scenes. If such has been extruded from my posts, I can assure you it was not intended.
I do not apologize for my questioning behavior, I believe it is a benchmark of being gentleman, always wanting to see that the right thing is being done.
I'm terrible with words, so the most accurate interpretation of my thoughts may not always be presented, but.........
eh, that is all.
Thanks

c'mon guys, nobody's perfect, save One...
I have made comments before, when not knowing all aspects of a situation, which is something I strive to not do, off-line or on-line, but sometimes emotion gets the better of me.
It's already been discussed a gentleman is not always gentle, but sometimes makes a wrong decision.
whether 'tis or 'tisn't, it is what it is. that's all. nothing in this thread, and anything that could be construed as such today has already been sanitized, suffice it to say, it is what it is.

My point is the same as Matt's -- I've never seen you misbehaving. I wasn't trying to imply [stop it, Blake ] anything else.
I thought about it overnight, and I realize that, whatever happened, it is now between you and the mods and none of my business. FWIW, personally, I have never found any of your posts offensive.

There are a couple of Mexican restaurants in town, but as you may imagine a Mexican restaurant owned/operated by Japanese people who've never left Japan isn't exactly authentic. It's ok, but not great. There's also a Taco Bell on base, but I don't consider that Mexican either.

Well, if you make it back in the area, I know two places. There is a carnival-like trailer that sets up in a park in Fort Wayne. I wouldn't have trusted it if it wasn't for friends. My friend's wife lived in Mexico until she was 11. They also took me to a place in Chicago. It doesn't get any more authentic than these two places. What... no pudding? I read somewhere that pudding is special.
Pudding is said to be special, yes. I agree to the fullest extent capable of agreeing.
As I believe in the special qualities of said puddings, I also endorse the commonly held belief of special things for special occasions. How frequently you enjoy a special occasion is entirely personal, but I believe special occasions should happen once a week at the most.
This way, the alluring pleasures of a pudding us not dulled with over indulgence. Moderation is the secret ingredient to keeping pleasure sharpened, as desire and satiation is a most pleasing cycle.

Sadly, no. I have not even been able to track down which tribe we are from. The connection is through my grandmothers father, who was married to someone other than my great grandmother. Therefore, the family has been less than cooperative. Most of them ar now gone, as well.

I've lived here since January and still haven't made it to Glacier. Looks like I've missed my chance as roads are beginning to close in the park because of snow. I'm looking to work back down south somewhere next year.

Okay, I have some exciting news! Not to any of you, but I am pumped! They are finally fixing my schedule at work.
Currently, I work six days on and two off. If you count the weekend as one day, it makes sense. When they did this, they said, "you get three day weekends!" wahoo, they come every five weeks. That is too long and six days are too many. My job requires a lot more than one would think that doesn't work in this type of setting. I am here to tell you, six days in a row are too many. You can always look at the major mistakes and injuries. They mostly happen on day six. Besides, you can't hardly plan anything.
Starting this Sunday, we are going back to every other weekend!
:jump::jump::jump::jump::jump:
Under this schedule, we will work four days in a row, at the most. This will be such a relief. I will be able to have somewhat of a life again.
