I bought two bacon cheeseburger pizzas today.:

Yah, she's out little garburator.
EDIT: ok not little, 100lbs, but I still call her that.
Holy moly what type of dog is that?!? She's huge!
I have to go pick up my bride and entertain her now. Blake have fun, and be careful!
Aaaawww yeah! Giddy.

Of course, they are for cleansing ones pallet between bacon courses.
And don't forget a fine bacon chaser to do with your bacon shots.
Excuse me while I whip this out.

Q: How many hipsters does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: It's a really obscure number, you've probably never heard of it.

Clearly not. If Blake were really blond, he woulda drawn the gun on himself when the twins, um, "woke him up." Which, reminds me of a scene from Blazing Saddles, actually.

Oh wow Dennis!!! I feel guilty at laughing so hard at that!:lol::lol::lol:

The give away was that the real suspect wasn't chasing a gang of scantily clad twins and triplets.
Sorry Dennis. The point is to make them chase you. Remember, it was my bedroom they were breaking into, not vice versa. :001_cool:
That reminds me of a joke:
Question: How many blondes does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: One. She holds the bulb and waits for the world to revolve around her.
I didn't know you were secretly a blonde, Blake.
And that one reminds me of this one:
Question: How many country and western singers does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: Four. One to change the light bulb and three to sing about how much they miss the old one. :tongue_sm
:lol::lol:
And MY favorite light bulb joke of all time: How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb? A: Two. One to hold the giraffe and one to fill the bathtub with clocks.
That may be my favourite too!
Did they at least have the common courtesy to take each other out so there will be less of them next year? :001_rolle
No! Gang bangers are notoriously bad aims. They follow the spray & pray theory. Thus why so many of the victims were not-so-innocent bystanders. :001_rolle

Um, not exactly. The moon will just *appear* bigger since it will be at the closest point in its orbit (around the earth) to the earth. The fact that it will also be a "full moon" will make this fact more visible.
And therefore tugging more forcefully on the Earth. Expect higher tides than usual tonight.

Actually, that's a common misconception. In fact, the tides will be particularly LOW due to the waters trying to hide from (blake's) Full Moon.

Penguin latest food - available
in abundance soon
Penguins could be the Sunday roast of choice if a plan to use the world penguin surplus goes ahead, Goliath Food Chiefs announced yesterday. Penguins, long considered to be inedible by even the most hardiest of sailors, have recently been discovered to taste a lot like veal, if cooked for long enough.
The stupid looking seabird, once considered 'cute' and 'funny' but now known to be a violent desecrator of the beautiful unspoilt wilderness of Antarctica, will be available as a frozen dish by as early as next month. As part of the launch of this abundant new foodstuff, There will be a special penguin cookery show on GoliathChannel 16, as well as a highly amusing advertising campaign with the catchy phrase: 'P-p-p-prepare a p-p-penguin!'
Opposition for the new foodstuff has been minor, with only nine people (figures adjusted for accuracy) claiming that the penguin should not be eaten. "The thing is," said Mr White, Goliath's head nutritionist, "is that by eating only one penguin a week you can make up your entire recommended weekly intake of penguin, which we have decided is . . . one penguin."
Mrs Sutton of Sidcup was one of the first lucky housewives to be offered penguin and she told us: "At first, I was wary of the seabird. We had tried Great Auk and found it a bit stringy. But once we had eaten it, we will be having penguin every week - goodbye chicken!"
Claims from opposition groups that Goliath were simply 'raping Antarctica' are unfounded. None of the 3.2 million penguins currently available to consumers originate from the Goliath-owned continent, but are reared in an eco-friendly farm in Norfolk.
Sounds good doesn't it..... I heard Omaha Steaks are contemplating a new sideline :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Hi all. Yes, I finally took a day off. I wasn't planning on it, but when I got up this morning my body let me know it was time. I've been working since the 2nd of March without a day off. First because of a schedule change, then an exercise and then the big quake/tsunami. I'm glad I finally took the day off. I slept about 15 hours and finally feel recharged. :thumbup1: I'm headed back to work tomorrow.

Had some Shopping Adventures with my wife last night. We spent 20 minutes arguing with a JC Penney sales manager because her people don't know how to properly place merchandise. We ended up getting 40% off our purchases.
Also, did anyone know that Borders Books had declared bankruptcy? They are closing the store here down, and had everything...literally everything marked down. I got some books and some other things for decent prices. I hate that they are closing this one down, I liked it better than the B&N and Booksamillion.

...In other news, little Crafty is eating and drinking this morning, although a little warm. Hopefully he'll be ok to go back on Monday. He just missed school two weeks ago, and again on Friday.
Sounds like you and yours are getting healthy and back on track. Lot's of good news on here today. :thumbup1:
You're not Ray! I'm Ray! :blink::blink::blink:
LOL, I haven't been on as much lately. I try to check in at least once a day. I need to get back in the gym so I can have more energy again.
Try taking a couple of days off, with two bacon-cheesburgers pizzas, a bottle of Cherry Dr. McGillicuddys, twelve Woodchuck Amber ciders, frozen pizza, various unhealthy cheap foods, eight cigars, popcorn and movies. I've heard from a credible source that that is a great way to get back on track! :thumbup1:

I picked up that GEM Feather with gold trim at an antique store. I don't use GEMs, but I've never seen a Feather with gold trim before, so I picked it up as I thought it would be an interesting addition into our next fundraiser that is underway now (I'm sure you've all seen it in this thread (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=196616)?. I haven't even cleaned it up yet, but will do so today and will post another pic. :thumbup1:

This is true.
I've had a good day. Did some shopping. My room-mate thinks it odd because she has been alone most of her life. But I have been the opposite. Going to antique stores, for example, is not something I normally did on my own. But, I had fun by myself today.
I also went to an outdoor outfitter in town. You know, they sell canoeing and backpacking gear as well as organize trips. Met a man that was very helpful and pointed in the right direction to start planning my trip. Told me where to go for resources and gave me some excellent advice on gear and strategy. My plan is to paddle for as far as I can for one or two days. Then set up a base camp. I will take day trips from there. I hope to do a one or two day hike also. I have never actually gone backpacking before. It cracked me up. This guy said that for my skill level, this was a very good plan. He was saying why which were a lot of the same reasons I had for it. One thing I mentioned was more tongue in cheek. However, he said I was absolutely right and was another reason he thought it was a good idea. If I don't show up when my contact persons back home expect me, Search & Rescue will know exactly where to begin their search for me. If I am not at camp, they will be able to get an idea of how many days I have been missing and will know I am within a one or two day radius of that point. As stupid as it sounds, that just encouraged me. It means this is exactly the kind of trip I have been wanting!
Now, time for a lot of research, reconnaissance, and assembling my gear.

Also, did anyone know that Borders Books had declared bankruptcy? They are closing the store here down, and had everything...literally everything marked down. I got some books and some other things for decent prices. I hate that they are closing this one down, I liked it better than the B&N and Booksamillion.
Yeah, they've been in bankruptcy proceedings since February, but they were starting to liquidate stores before that. Heck they were in the process of closing one on the Magnificent Mile when I was in Chicago in December.
I think I still have a few of those at my wife's house. (Can't believe I am starting to call it that!) However, I do not have a cased one. Very cool! :thumbup1:
What would you rather we call it?
So you're planning on getting lost?
Make sure you read up on survival skills.

Buckskin and pants have not gone together since then. Think it's time to update your look, maybe? Plus, it really clashes with the guinea gold starter set.
But the real question is this. Can the Lord of The Lard, The Master of Manteca, the Fridge of Flab, the Consumer of Calories,The Griller of Orcas, the perspicacious penguin himself fit into Blake's pants?
