driving down the road, he see’s Kimo and the busload of
penguins heading in the opposite direction. He turns his van
around and chases in pursuit. He finally catches up to the
bus and pulls over Kimo on the side of the road. In an irate

“Calm down,” Kimo says. “I took the penguins to the zoo. We

Does that mean I can take the next package to the post office and say, "I am only going to pay part of the postage." No! They wouldn't mail it. Then there's this tasty dish from Mongolia:
Once you've caught your marmot and you're sure its safe to eat, you can prepare it in the open air in much the same way as the Mongolians have done since ancient times:
The head and insides are removed, then the meat is stuffed back inside along with red-hot stones. It is sealed up again and left to cook from the inside out for two hours. This dish is known as Bodok.

Since you asked, from the Pilot Guide,
Hunting for marmot
Marmots are carriers of bubonic plague in Mongolia but this doesn't deter the people from hunting them for food. In fact, their traditional hunting methods, bizarre though they may seem, protect against the killing and consumption of infected animals: a Mongolian marmot hunter dresses all in white, with a white hat with long rabbit-like ears and a daluur - a tassel made from a horse or yak's tail. When the daluur is shaken the marmot begins to call, but doesn't run and hide. The hunter moves slowly towards his prey, waggling the long ears if the marmot stops calling. The whole parade allows the hunter to come much closer to the marmot that he would otherwise be able to. The hunter will never shoot a marmot that doesn't give the alarm call, as this natural response is not given by creatures infected with the plague. Moreover he'll never eat an animal that he's found already dead or could catch and kill with his bare hands.

So you dress up like a rabbit to catch groundhogs? Who knew?

Well, today has been a long day. I worked all night, had a doctor's appointment straight away. I then drove to Indianapolis and ate lunch with Slaglerock. Let me say this, don't let Rob fool you. He is a jerk! J/K I had a lot of fun. Rob is a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him. One thing we mentioned, before this site, there is no way in Hades I would have drove to Indy to see someone for the first time that I met on the Internet. It was good food and better company (Except for that Blake kid. He's an odd one.) I also got to meet Rob's wife and sister. They, of course, took off to go shopping while we discussed shaving and how much we can't stand all of you. :001_tt2: I suppose my 17K posts proves the truth of that one. :001_rolle

Will the villain take over Sweet Petunia's ranch? Will she stay tied on the train track while the noon express runs over her, or will the ranger rescue her at the last second? Is Marsha really pregnant, or is that just a clever ploy to trap John into marrying her?

Some of us more than others. Perhaps the turning over of another thousand posts on the post count is a time for condolences rather than congratulations? Maybe that's why some of us are slower than others in adding to our post count? Or are we just slower-witted than those with much higher post counts?
Will the villain take over Sweet Petunia's ranch? Will she stay tied on the train track while the noon express runs over her, or will the ranger rescue her at the last second? Is Marsha really pregnant, or is that just a clever ploy to trap John into marrying her?
That's just depressing. Now I need a hug.

I think I can speak for all of us when I say that you're barking up the wrong tree with that one around here. Maybe you'll have more luck over at "shave my back dot com" or one of the other shaving sites.

There was a point to this story, but it has temporarily escaped the chronicler's mind.
Matt, did you get your eviction notice?

I joined that back shaving site a couple of years ago, but after so long, the "how-to's" and "nicks and cuts" pics started to get me upset to my stomach, so... plus, their funny story section just wasn't that funny.

I imagine the straight razor stories were particularly horrific. Getting the right angle must be a real challenge.

Seems that if you could just get the angle right, you wouldn't have to shave your back. <shrug>
