Well your Lordship - I'd be quite happy to volunteer, however -

Does the czardom really want scents described to them by someone who thinks that Lilac Vegetal is just about the best thing out there?

Perhaps choosing someone with a less controverial favorite would lend more credibility to his prognostications.

Lilac Vegetal is the cats meow!!

The LV is awesome.

Welcome back Adam. Long time no read.

Thanks, Phil. Good to be back around.

Being serious for a moment, it was a very dark moment in my life. The darkest I ever had. B&B helped pull me out of that. I owe more than great shaves to this site. I was fortunate to have found it when I did.

Oh, yeah. I've heard you mention that before. Whatever it was, I'm glad it doesn't have a hold on you anymore.

On a brighter note......happy birthiversary!!

(My mom and step-dad are in town. Not sure if I'll be able to check in here tomorrow, so I thought I'd go ahead and to that now.)

Don't worry, boss. I have no intention of leaving. You'd never find a competent enough replacement for me, anyway.

I'm not sure about competency, but you would be hard to replace.

I finally made it out of the snow. Got a load to Georgia. It's almost warm here.

So much for getting out of the snow. It snowed in GA. Fortunately I was able to get mostly through SC before it hit. I was also fortunate that my backhaul out of GA was on the east coast. It gave me more time to get out of Dodge.

Got wifi at a Mcdonalds in Stow, OH where I am stuck until tomorrow. My bunk heater is on the fritz and I am trying to conserve fuel by hanging out here instead of idling. At approximately 1 gallon per hour while idling I am afraid of running out of fuel before I get unloaded tomorrow. If I have to move the truck to get fuel it also forces me to log on duty and ruins my 34 hour reset, which this downtime gives me. After my reset I can run hard all week and not have to worry about exceeding 70 hours in 8 days as I should be home by next Saturday.

We prefer a voluntary annex whenever possible. Speak softly and carry a big stick. A good propaganda canvas campaign and a shake of the stick is all it should take. When you have the glory that is Cheddar, the masses flood to you.

Yeah, they can be tricky to lather. TSD makes a nice lime-coconut soap (and also the same as a cream, which I haven't used).

Lime or lemon, huh? Well, for me... Lime. But, it's all up to your preferences. Doing some research may save you some heartache. Many lemons out there smell like "Pledge" as opposed to fresh-squeezed which you may or may not like. Same for the lime... many smell like lime jello or sherbet, not like fresh-squeezed. But Mama Bear and TSD have among the most natural (ie fresh-squeezed) scents in these areas, imho, tho I've certainly not tried them all.

edit: In the coconut dept., Trumper's makes both a cream and a soap which (at least to my nose) don't contain vanilla. Mama Bear also has a few coconut variations, you may want to ask her about the vanilla issue too.

TSD also makes them as aftershaves which are witch hazel (not alcohol) based so little burn if any. You can also add on allantoin (moisturizer) if desired.

TSD also makes a mojito scent which smells just like the real thing. IMHO, their lime and their mojito are the best ever (I have both in soap and in splashes).
