I say this with a perfect track record in the Cheddar Curtain and while being one of only two members of the Order of the Cheddar Curtain.
I support the merging of the threads. I see it as complete victory. The Czardom has taken control of the "New" "Anything Thread"... That's the ballgame
Besides that, the sheer volume of Czardom threads was becoming a touch tedious to me as well.

By the way fellas, I finally got a job for next year! I interviewed (via Skype) yesterday for one down on the South Carolina coast. This was a second interview with them, and they offered me the job, pending the necessary background checks and what-not! (I, of course, accepted.) Just thought I'd share my joy with y'all. Big weight off my shoulders! Instead of -23 and snowing (yesterday in Lame Deer), I'll be enjoying 70 degrees and sunny skies (yesterday in Georgetown, SC) the second half of this winter!
He might be a wuss, but a wuss with a more women than days in the week.
Congrats on the job!
No sir, he hasn't. We just haven't had enough quantity of any externally-available shave soaps since #9, really. A few samples of #10 and #11 leaked out by hand, but now #11 is packed in my kitchen, waiting on #12 and #13 unless Colonel Soapbox says I need to send #11 right away because of delays in producing #12 and #13. (Mom and Dad came to visit at Thanksgiving, and when they got home, they had to work like hell to catch up).
At least one new scent will appear in batches #12 and #13 too.

As noted, things are a little more steady now, and so I'll have two more batches (making three in all) to send out by, maybe, the end of the week. With two new scents, according to Mom.

Lime? and ... ?
While Lime will be one of the production scents, Mom has recently shown up with two scents that they want to try instead of lime -- I was impressed. Chris (theperfectstorm) suggested a Peppermint/Lavender, and both Mom and Dad took that idea and ran with it. Plus, they're tentatively going to play with sage and lemongrass this week. So, there's still a chance of lime, but I think we'll see two never-before-seen scents with batches #12 and #13. (whether either of these batches is a better performer than #11 remains to be seen, though, since we're testing two new ideas with #12 and #13).

Houston was great! Mr. Scruffy, texbilly, and Jakes Poppy are really great guys. We spent probably 2 1/2 hours there and would have stayed longer if we didn't have other things that had to be done. It was really a good day! Plenty of trading and sampling and showing went on; it was really a treat.
Regarding the avocado soap, I'm envisioning an avocado oil, lanolin, and tallow soap :001_wub:
That would be incredible! The scent of St. Sue's avocado balm is heavenly... I couldn't imagine how great that soap would be if executed well... I should go to sleep for this. I may be able to even smell it in my dreams:w00t:

I looked into it, and it turns out I'm wrong; apparently I just heard that from someone random and repeated it. I suppose coaches could rally support for their players to win the Heisman, and so there might yet be some truth that the Bear never went out of his way to promote players for it. But yeah, you don't have to be nominated by your coach.

There's a member here named pinesol90210 (or something like that) who likes to celebrate Alabama's victories by displaying toilet paper, laundry detergent, toilet paper again and then an elephant.
And then he eats the elephant because elephants are masticable.
:tongue_sm:001_smile
really, he sounds like a swell guy, does he post here much?
I really wanted Tebow to win another one, but Ingram was certainly deserving. I can't wait to see how 'Bama handles Texas!
I honestly thought they were gonna give it to McCoy, being a QB, or Gerhart, his numbers were great, too.
I wouldn't have been upset if the "boy named Suh" had won it, gotta love it when the defense guys get nominated!
But, I'm very happy for Ingram!
Holy cow, I was watching that game when Prothro broke his leg! That was horrible! He was an electrifying player, though. Whatever happened to him, anyway?it broke both bones, and effectively ended his playing career. I think he's a coach somewhere now, or going to be.
I was watching that game, too, and remember thinking to myself "I don't think your toes are supposed to be able to touch your knees"
man, that was ugly.
That was only a couple weeks removed from that incredible catch he made, too

I was hoping for Toby Gerhart or Ndamukong Suh to win it just because of the novelty. I'd have been plenty upset if McCoy had won it. He didn't deserve consideration IMO (neither did Tebow). Spiller should have been there, if you ask me... And I know you did :001_tt2:

First of all, let me say this. Catching up around here is tremendously difficult. Now, if three threads are suddenly merged, it creates a situation that is nearly impossible to make sense of. I don't know how many pages I had to wade through prior to the merge, but none of them made any sense. In the clown house, that is saying something!
Yeah, but working in a lab isn't all peaches and creams either. Working with concentrated ammonia is downright hellish.
Doesn't sound like my idea of a party.

Not sure how the merge could make your head spin. None of them ever made any sense in the first place. All you have to do is read the last page or two and you are right back in the mix!
Try coming into the merge several pages down. It is truly head spinning crazy. The clown house may be nonsense, but there is some sense to it.
How many times do I have to say this? If you must drink and eat pizza, take small bites, the cheese comes up easier that way!

Also, I got a bottle of Proraso after shave cream from westcoastshaving, and it's working out well, for about the same cost per ounce as my usual favorite, Neutrogena Triple-Protect.
As for the new Semogue 1305 boar brush, it's doing fine, but not spectactular. The B&B Essential 2008 is just miles better. I got my other boar, the Omega Pro, from letterk as well, and I may break it in soon, but I think that I'm slowly proving to myself that -- for me -- badger is better than boar.

There might be a hint of spice in the smell, but it's mostly a floral scent. I'm decidedly not an expert on how you describe the palette of fragrances with words. As one author once said, in a similar vein: "writing about music is like dancing about architecture."
OK, sounds good though!
Yep!
Good! Thanks!
Bayberry is really nice. Floral, with spice, but it's definitely masculine. Huge :thumbup1:
Ah, sounds nice, and different. :w00t:
Multiple Swampfoxes? :scared:
You not half as scared at that prospect as I am? I mean, how can I know which is the real one? I may be a Swampfox from one of the other universes! :scared:
Sup Czarites?
Beaker?
I think he means, "ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!" :w00t:
Elphants stampede, crush longhorn that got in the way.
I was Betty.
Really? Does your wife know this?
What?! Sue's awesome.
Unless you're a boy....
Are you making fun of the Sues?
Two Sues walk in a bar.......
wait... Sue's really Johnny Cash?
"Roll Tide" is the "battle cry" for the University of Alabama "Crimson Tide." THE University has had a very good year at American Football and will play for the National Championship on January 7th.
What? I thought Florida was already national champs? That's what they said in August.
By the way, Earnhardt wore black as well as drove it. (R.I.P., NASCAR)

Spiller should have been there, if you ask me...
:thumbup1:
Um, wow.
No, you should say, "Impressive, Swampfox, you have become strong in the Clown House. Blake has taught you well."
Good night John Boy, er, uh, Rob.
:lol::lol::lol:
Good afternoon housejesters:001_smile
*Sipping on some home-cooked Glögg*
Is that any relation to Skklog?
First of all, let me say this. Catching up around here is tremendously difficult. Now, if three threads are suddenly merged, it creates a situation that is nearly impossible to make sense of. I don't know how many pages I had to wade through prior to the merge, but none of them made any sense.
:thumbup1:
I think you can only walk around pant-less in New York City.

Just one more reason to stay away from NYC.
But it does not leave hunger behind.
True.
I can't dance either.
And that's why Weird Al chose you over Donny Osmond for the "White and Nerdy" vid.
Yeah, I know, talking about shaving in the clown house can be disorienting.
 Something is wrong! I feel a disturbances in the multiverse!
I knew I should have turned left at Albuquerque.
In Aaaaaaaaaaal-buquerque! Albuquerque! Albu-querque!
there's an outside of the Clown House?
It's called the OutHouse.
Yeah, nobody wants to live in Northern Sweden. :tongue_sm
Yankee Swedes. :glare:
A big +1, Blake. I've been pretty busy trying to wrap up a graduate course I'm taking. Imagine my level of horror when I log in here to find out that I'm 5 pages behind, and all these threads have been merged!
I think this is all a scene from The Dark Crystal.
I watched it happen! How do you think I feel having had to do that? (and fwiw, I wish it hadn't happened)
Long live the Czar!
fify.
