Just wondering if anyone on here is going to check out this Sundays fight. For those of you that don't know about it, check out Versus on Sunday at 6 P.M. It should be an absolute war. I will be there, sitting cageside, I cant wait.

First, let me say very cool that you'll be in attendance. I'll be watching it on TV. I think you are right. I think it is going to be a battle. I think in the end Brown is going to win, but I'd like to see Faber take back the title.

I'll be watching. I've got Faber...I think 9 times out of ten, he mauls Brown. I love the WEC:cool:

Will be watching and rooting for another Brown victory. WEC has the best and most exciting fights IMO.

I agree. UFC=WEC and WEC=UFC this is why they have the best fights. They are the top tier in MMA. Affliction, if they could ever work out the details and get more top tier fighters could be competitive. I still follow (or have followed) most other promotions as well.

For any MMA fans that haven't heard of it (not sure how that's possible) Sherdog.com is a great source for MMA news.

I think Browns size and strength advantage presents quite a problem for Faber, but I think Faber has revenge on his mind. I just don't see him losing. I predict Faber by TKO fourth round.

Overall should be an excellent night of fights. I'm happy see some WEC and even MMA fans on here.

The pre-Zuffa WEC was pretty awesome as well:thumbup1:

I think your odds are a little off.

Ladies and Gents, let it be known, I called this one! My MMA predictions have been spot on, at least here at the B&B!

Definitely. If it wasn't the UFC wouldn't have assimilated it.

Heck of a fight that was. Brown is the man. Props to Faber though for hangin in there with the broken hand.

WEC > UFC lately. The fights have been far more exciting across the board.

**SPOILERS**

Great fights last night. I feel bad for Pulver. The competition has caught and passed him. His past three losses have been excessively quick. He was a great, exciting fighter to watch, but I think his time is over now. I hope he calls it a career before he suffers some permanent damage.

Cowboy Cerrone looked impressive. He's got some serious skills, but he comes across as a cocky prick. Beat Varner before you talk all that sh*t, Cowboy.

Aldo, wow. Double knees to the head right off the bat. Impressive win, just like his previous stuff. This guy has serious potential.

I'm glad Brown won. He's very steady and methodical. Faber is impressive to watch, but he gets a little overly flashy. Florian calling his stuff "cute" wasfunny, but spot on. That stuff works against lesser fighters, but fails 99% of the time against solid competition. Faber looked faster, no doubt, but his power didn't seem to phase Brown all that much.

Again, another great show. I can't wait to see Miguel Torres fight again. That guy is just a monster, and easily one of the most entertaining fighters out there.

+1 big props to Faber for fighting on.

So I guess that means you think Urijah will win their next 8 in a row?:lol::lol:

Had Faber not broken his hand I think the fight could have gone either way. Faber easily won the first round and Brown has a hard time getting inside with Faber's speed. I like Brown and he is a tough guy and deserved to win, but he needs to be more agressive and go for it. He knew Faber's hand was broken and he never really went in for the kill.

I don't agree that Faber easily won the first. I scored the first round for Brown...

As far as Brown being more aggressive...you gotta give a fighter like Urijah the respect he deserves. Over pursue and you're liable to get knocked out or submitted quick...trust me:redface:

The first round was close, but Faber was the aggressor I feel. That's the problem with the 10 point must system, it caters to avoiding damage and not inflicting it. I felt that Brown was a little too cautious especially when he knew Faber was hurt.

I'm excited to see them fight again. Which is about the only thing that excites me about MMA anymore. :thumbdown

Unbelievable night of fights for sure. One of the better cards in a few months. I always tell skeptics of the lighter weight classes to watch WEC because they never seem to disappoint. These fighters are some of the most exciting in the world.

I give Mike Brown props for pulling off this victory. He fought a smart fight and definitely deserved the win. I was disgusted by the way Sacramento fans treated him the entire night. He is one of the most classy and respectful guys in the fight business, he had nothing but good things to say about Faber before the fight. The fans treated him like he trash talked the whole time. I guess Sacramento just has to support the only good thing it has going for it in Uriah Faber.

I have a ton more respect for both fighters now. Faber showed some unbelievable determination and heart. Attending this event was an experience I will never forget. If any of you get a chance to go to an MMA event I recommend it. The energy is second to none.

Oh yeah and I got to meet Nick Diaz at the fights, and met Chuck Liddel at my gym the day before.

The aftermath:
