I was comparing my made in England and USA , and I noticed the USA has 1920 and the England has a 1917 pat date. Any difference in the two?

English patents were approved faster... the old types have a 1902 patent date on the english made razors while the us made razors have a 1904 patent date. I don't think your New Improved razor was made before 1921 however.
