Hello, newbie looking to get into straight razor shaving. Ideally, I'm looking to get any/all of the following items on a budget.

Functional straight razor, full hollow, half to 5/8, round point, something good for a light-bearded beginner such as myself. Shave ready, please!

Good shave soap/AS/preshave/etc.; Many brands held in high regard here.

Shave brush; ideally pure badger (figure I'll do it right the first time) but anything functional is fine.

Strop (ideally a pasted paddle strop) of any kind really.

The perfect seller for me would probably be someone who took the straight shave plunge, figured it wasn't for them, and has a lot to unload. Let me know!

PM Ambrose or leighton for a straight. For the strop, look at eBay or visit Rup Razor and get the Filly. For a brush, get a VDH boar from Walmart. Everything else can be gotten from various online retailers.

I know you want all of this from one guy, but I doubt anyone has all this.

In contact with Ambrose/Gugi about a razor.

In contact with stripec30 about a TM strop.

Still looking for: shave soap, bowl, brush = I'm thinking a basic pure badger with some quality soap would do me rather nicely.

The only thing I'll add is to skip the Wally World brush for $5 and go for the Tweezerman for $10. Totally worth the extra $5.
