So here are my choices:
A Shavemac in finest with a 45mm loft and an 18mm knot
A Simpson's T2 Tulip
A Simpson's Duke in Best

What should I tell my sisters to get for me? I left it open for them, but I could always nudge one way or the other a little bit. Leaning towards one of the Simpson's, since I just want a British luxury brush to see what the hype is all about. I'm probably getting a Rooney 1/1 from my mom. Fingers crossed.

I don't think any of these are bad choices. They are each going to be a bit different. The simpsons will definetly be easier for your sisters to order.

I'd pick the T2 - a great classic brush wit its own unique style.

Could anyone elaborate a bit on the differences?

And also, why are people obsessed with getting preVulfix Simpsons? Didn't Vulfix keep the line basically the same?

I think a lot of has to do with people wanting things that can no longer be obtained easily.

That's what I was thinking. Some sort of rareness/brand oriented thinking and not something really based on performance. That's my bias towards many things though, so feel free to contradict me.
