Holy Smokes guys. I was googling for hair dressings and ran into TheGreaseShop (http://www.thegreaseshop.com/servlet/StoreFront). This place has almost all of the old school pomades and waxes. They also have a number retro styled brands that look promising. They seem to primarily serve the greaser and retro rockabilly crowd but they have lot of products I wouldn't mind trying. Especially the Lucky13 (http://www.thegreaseshop.com/servlet/Categories?$catalog.Oem=Lucky-13+Barber+Supplies&$catalog.OemId=2389216) and Hawleywoods (http://www.thegreaseshop.com/servlet/Categories?$catalog.Oem=Hawleywoods+%2F+Layrite&$catalog.OemId=718750) brands.

A serious omissioin for sure. Honestly, I wonder when one of these companies is going to get smart and license both of these names to old school products? Dapper Dan with great hold and medium shine. Fop for the ultimate in shine and that Hollywood look.

When I had a pompadour I would use this too to get a super slick greasy shine, but man it got all over things clothes, furniture, and was hard to wash off my hands and was hard to wash out of my hair. The olive oil in does give a very nice shine though. The smell can be a little hard to take at times too.

I could see that. Fortunately for me I have very short hair and only use it to make the front stand up a little. I also use a very tiny amount. Not sure I'd like it if I had long hair or had to use a lot more product.
