Awkard Rash.

I have a persistent rash and ingrown hairs on a small part of my neck line and I think this is because the hair direction is literally horizontal running from mouth to ear and its really tricky to shave WTG and keep correct blade angle.
Any ideas about the best way to deal with this?

I think we may need some more info:

1) what kind of razor and prep do you use?

2) do you usually go XTG (i.e. up and down if your hair growth is horizontal)?

I would probably still say that WTG is best to eliminate the ingrowns, but focus on small strokes to ensure a good blade angle. Also, if a top to bottom XTG doesn't work, you can try a bottom to top sweep.

That's what I have to do. The hair on my neck grows sideways it is very hard to do a WTG so I end up doing a N-S and then two S-N passes before I attempt my ATG. It seems to work pretty well, no in-growns and little irritation if I pay attention.
