I just got my red pack's a few weeks ago after having used Derby for many months -- what a difference!

The red packs are SO much smoother for me, especially on the neck. With Derby, I was almost certain to get at least one, if not several, weepers every shave. Now it's almost zero weepers all the time.

I have to say that even with more that one ATG pass, the shave does not seem quite as close as with Derby or Feather, but the tradeoff of such a smooth shave is well worth it in my opinion.

So, if you're having problems with the neck area and havin't tried these, they might work wonders for you!

Welcome to the RPIP club. They're not as sharp as but smoother than Feathers, and they put Derby's to shame. A very good blade indeed.

The Red IP are the greatest!! I've tried about 7 different blades and these work well in all my razors.

I'll see your 200 & raise you 200 more ... actually I already acquired 400 of these very nice AND inexpensive blades. I was concerned after finding such a good choice they'd go the way of the Swedes.

Just when I thought I was done testing blades, I got two last ones to try: the Gillette 7 o'clock blacks and greens. I already tried the yellows, and they weren't smooth enough for me. And I've yet to try a green. But to my surprise, the black was very smooth and gave a good account of itself. I think I'll observe things a bit more, then possible get a small stash of blacks.

Damn Dandman...got me beat!

I know what you mean about being concerned about the "way of the Swedes"...reason I bought so many reds!

I've only been doing this DE wetshaving thing for like 5 months now, but I am definitely into it. I've got about a dozen razors, have tried most of the popular blades, and have acquired more than a few soaps, creams, brushes, AS's, 3 kinds of Thayers, etc. etc. Now if I could just grow whiskers fast enough to shave whenever I wanted. I think I'm sick...

They have the best price per sharpness point.

Great blades. I can't believe they are so inexpensive. I played around with other blades but once I loaded up the IP it was all over.

So far, the Red's are the best blade I've used. I'm getting nothing but great shaves with them!

I've never got so much as a nick or weeper from my IPs (and I even caught myself getting a bit careless), and razor burn doesn't exist for me (thanks to an assist from Thayers).

I'm going to try Astra and Feathers out of curiosity just to see if I can eliminate a pass, but I really can't say enough great things about them.

:lol:And 100 for $10?
