DE's, blades, and TSA

I've been flying both CONUS and internationally for a while now with my DE kit, including 2-3 blades (inside a Gillette blade box). I've gone through security with no problems so far and was wondering if anyone has ever run into trouble? ... Would hate to lose a razor :thumbdown

They don't restrict razors but they do restrict the blades on all carry-on luggage. So if they find it, hopefully they aren't going to take your whole razor.

They won't confiscate the razor, they will only confiscate the blade (in carry on).

A blade, like a pocket knife, or box cutters, or a baseball bat, etc(you see the pattern here) can be used as a weapon. A DE razor cannot. It shouldn't be confiscated. The blades, if they are found/seen, should.
