Does anybody have a source for nice wooden bowls with lids for a decent price? The soap refills from most manufacturers are pretty cheap. Ex. C&E hard soap with bowl is around $18, the refill is $7.50.

Check out Rubber Ducky (http://www.rubber-ducky.com/shavebowlwithlid.html).

Thanks Rik. Have you tried their bowls?

I haven't. They crossed my radar when I was Googling a few days back. Can't beat the price. Generally if I need a bowl, I'll turn it myself during a session at the lathe.

RR,

Those Rubber Ducky bowls look like the ones I got from Drugstore.com for a cheap price. Not impressed, the lids don't have a good fit. Decent looking, but nothing special.
