Well, while half asleep this morning I loaded a US Personna from Walmart into my WWII Tech (fluted handle style.) Lately I've been messing with Feathers, Astras and Yellow Packs in this particular razor... Wasn't expecting much to say the least... However, it was actually quite pleasant! No skipping, pulling or nicking. Just real straightforward and comfortable.

Might have to pick up an extra pack just to have on hand...

(...Just felt the need to share...)

A very sharp blade in a basic, mild razor makes a great combination.

Last week I got five great shaves with a Shark blade in a 1964 Travel Tech head on a longer handle from a Lord "Tech."

This week I'm using a Schick Krona loaded with an Iridium Super. This blade is VERY sharp and requires more attention to technique, but the results so far have been great.

Not sure when I'll get back to my Super Adjustable.

A pack of Wal-Mart Personna's is fine until you reach the obligatory dull/defective blade that they feel they have to insert into every pack (sometimes more than twice :) .
