Does anyone know what brand the Rexall brand DE blades are renamed from? I am new to this, so I've purchased whatever I can find locally to compare to the Derby's I got with my razor purchase. So far I've only found (reasonably priced anywyas) the Gillette ones (which I hear aren't worth the money they charge), or the Rexall ones, which are 4.50 CAD for 5. A lot more than what we can get Derby's for, but I think it's not a bad idea I at least compare to a couple of other kinds to see what the differences are.

I haven't tried the Rexall ones yet, but I can say they come with the nicest packaging of any I've seen anywhere. the front and back of the package is aluminum, they are put in with a spring type holder that keeps them from moving as to not dull the blades, and has a great spot in the back for used ones.

Probably made by American Safety Razor Company.

Try some of the older pharmacies like the IDA's or hunt down the independant shops near older communities/retirement centers. That was my only luck in BC finding some Wilkonson Swords. I just purchased a sample pack from www.fendrihan.com canadian company! I'm a big fan of the ASTRA's and the Feathers! some find them "too" sharp, but my Fatboy is a pretty smooth operator, and I seem to have a pretty resilant face!

ASR would be my guess, as well...

Ok, Thanks guys. If only I could shave more often so I could try out more stuff! Gotta wait a full day every time.

Check out the link. Rexall blades are actually the Personna (American).
I have tried them a few times with different razors and I think they are not bad at all. I didn't get irritation, no cuts or nicks and the results were very good.
If you are in Toronto and wanna try different blades PM me, I got some samples that I don't mind sharing.
