Hello from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
I have been DE wet shaving a few years now.
I have been using B&B as a great resource for reviews and as a guide for what to purchase on eBay and elsewhere.
I've probably accumulated a few years worth of shaving creams, soaps and aftershave.
Presently I use a Aristocrat 66.
I just made a major purchase on eBay of straight razors and supplies.
So...I'll be looking at all the old threads on straight razor shaving and sharpening.
Thanks for having this resource available!

Welcome to B&B!!! And soon, welcome to the ranks of straight shavers. Only one recommendation for now. Since you are just starting out, get one of the straights honed by a honemeister so you know what it is supposed to feel like. OK, maybe two recommendations... no pressure while stropping. You can roll the edge of a perfect blade in short order.
