And I love them :frown:

I'd first started with the blade that came with my Merkur - lovely shave when getting started, but honestly it only lasted two shaves. Then out came the Derby... not particularly enamored with them. While I'm able to get close, they were really catching on my hairs when going XTG and ATG, giving my follicles hell. Now, without going ATG, that's fine, but I don't like any sort of stubble at all, so I'm kinda unhappy. They produced far too many weepers for my liking, but not real cuts or razor burn. Gone through 3 of them so far.

So, courtesy of a package that came from Ben, I popped a Swede out of its cartridge this morning and away I went. No tugging, weepers, or any bad things to say about the blade at all. Like most reviewers, that puppy was as smooth as can be; along with the sharpness, everything cut cleanly for a BBS shave.

Pretty expensive though, it's a damn pity they're discontinued. Lucky I've got a 10 pack hanging around. Guess I'm going to have to find the yellows to see if they're a close comparison.

Well there are still a few out there to be had. Check the BST. Hope you can find something else you are comfortable with.

I really liked these blades, but I've decided to discontinue use after I run out of the 20 I have left. I don't see any point in trying to find them just to be back in the same boat in the future.. I think the Astra Superior's are pretty close.
