you'll be fine! Take your time and don't use any pressure.

If you get any nicks just splash some good aftershave on and go over it with a styptic pen. should be good to go in the morning.

I've been DE shaving for about 2.5 weeks and i've had to use my styptic pen more in the last two shaves than any of the previous! just take your time, smooth strokes.

Welcome!!. Move that inaugeral shave up to 7:55pm..why prolong the anticipation. Don't worry about a few nicks and cuts. Women like scars; just tell her you had to fight your way through the throng of admirers to get to her because of her exquisite beauty. Keep us posted. We want to know how your shave goes.

Relax man...put some cool music(like Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby),get a hot shower, make great lather, dont apply any pressure on the DE,short strokes, rinse well with cold water, apply a cool aftershave and the lady is gonna be all yours man!Enjoy it!

Hey, I'm all in favour of using a DE, but at the same time, I hate trying t make a good impression on a female friend with a gapping wound. I have a feeling that looking at your face and seeing dried blood is probably less than appetizing. If I were you I would just give a WTG shave with your standard razor right before you see here. Still presentable looking and no cuts. That said, if you brave the DE tonight I'm very interested in a follow-up on how it goes!

ok, thing is done, told you, cant wait... haha, things goes extremely well, no nicks, cuts or razor burn, best lather achieved in my whole life, 2 WTG 1 XTG and ATG on some rough spot. not BBS but already better than my sensor excel. i have to work my technique but i am pretty impressed by the ease of use of this wonderfull little toy  i was a bit stressed about the prep so, long hot shower, kyle's prep for something like 4-5 min with a good thick layer of lather :w00t:. great experience redoing it tomorow for sure :D conclusion, i'm in for a while

Great start!. Proper facial prep and a well-hydrated lather is 80% of the battle. Keep us posted.
