Shavemac DO1 loft

I am thinking of ordering a custom Shavemac with the DO1 hair. I had one with a 23 mm knot and 50 mm loft and while it was a beautiful brush it was on the stiff side and I want something with a little more flexibility. I also think I want a bigger knot ( life hasn't been the same since I bought a Chubby 2). I'm thinking of possibly a 25 or 26mm knot but unsure about the loft, probably less than 55mm. I want it to have some flexibility but not anywhere near floppy. Anyone ever order one like this or have any ideas? Thanks

I do not own a Shavemac but have seen a lot of brushes seem to have a 54mm loft. This would be an ideal loft for a brush, any more and it might start to lean toward the floppy side.

If you already tried a 50mm loft and thought it was too stiff, I say go for the 55mm loft.

52 mm is the loft bernd generally recommends for a 23 or 24 mm D01 brush
