I have a C&E BBB and a 20mm Shavemac D01 brush. I love both brushes. I always wanted to get a larger brush to add to my collection. I just purchased my D01 and two more D01 that I will give out as gifts to my family ($350). So I feel that I shouldn't purchase another brush for a little while but I can get the C&E Super Badger Brush for 50% off bringing it to $42.50!! That is a great deal in my opinion.
Should I
1) Purchase it because it is a deal no one should pass up
2) Wait for another group buy (Simpson, Rooney, Vulfix, Kent, etc)
3) Wait for another B&B Brush
4) Forget about it and purchase a brush manufactured by a different company than what I own BUT not now. In future when I can afford and find a good deal.
Tough decision. I know that in the future I will buy another brush with a knot size 23mm-26mm. The C&E Super badger fits the size and is 50% off but I don't want to spend more $ now on a brush and really it is just a larger, softer, denser C&E BBB with a different handle.

Buy it, if you don't like it, sell it in the BST. If you sell it for ~$45 shipped it won't last long.

It's a great brush. Mine's a bit of a shedder though and after two or so years, I'm thinkin of putting a new knot on it. The handle is beautiful ( the black/nickel one) and it's a great size and shape for me.

The C&E Super was my second brush a few years ago. It's a wonderful big and luxurious soft brush for creams. My first one did start shedding a lot of hair but my local store replaced it no questions asked. The replacement brush was solid and never lost a single hair the entire time I owned it.
I would definately call it floppy, but quality. If you use soaps, it might not be the best option, but at $45 (I paid $85 + tax locally) I wouldn't hesitate to give it a shot.

Where are you finding the C&E Supers? They're not on the website, they're not at my local store.
I've been looking at the Super for a while now, and thought I would pick one up when I reach C&E's Elite Customer status ($250 cumulative sales gets you an extra 10% off forever.) That would make the brush about $61.20 ... but if I can buy it now for $42.50 ... well, its a no-brainer.

If I buy it and don't like it I guess I could sell it. I would sell it for enough to cover shipping so I don't loose any money.

The C&E brushes are Edwin Jagger brushes relabeled. I own a Edwin Jagger Super Badger brush and I love it. Plus, if you get it from C&E you can save the expensive shipping from the UK (which I unfortunately had to pay for mine since I couldn't find the time to get to a local C&E).

I think my local C&E have several in stock. They don't display this brush so you have to ask for it. So most people that purchase brushes at this store probably don't even know about that brush.

Right now there is a 50% coupon you could use for the purchase of the brush at C+E. I checked them out yesterday, they are very nice, and are marked as E Jagger made for C+E. The coupon is only valid till Sunday, though! Search here for this coupon.

Good looking out but that is what I am contemplating. At $85 I wouldn't buy. But for $42.50????

I love mine. It's floppy as hell but it's amazing with creams and ridiculously soft.

I ended up not getting it. I feel bad but what are you going to do. For those of you who bought the C&E Super enjoy and try not to brag too much

Just purchased at a C&E store that is closing. Can't wait to try it.
I do notice that the writing is a lighter shade a blue than my C&E Best badger. Anyone notice this? Is it fading or just a lighter shade?
