You heard of Batting Avg, right? my SA is probably worse than my post count.

After 143 days, (that's how old the spreadsheet is,) or 11/19/08, I've had 86 shaves using a DE. The rest of the time, either I did not shave, or used an electric.

So, that would work out to 60.14%. I don't think the bar gets any lower than that.

Step up to the Plate! What's your Shaving Avg.?

What's your Earned Shave Average? Keeping shave statistics seems like too much work for me.

Probably north of 98%, if I understand your question. No electric, multi-blade contraption, canned goop, or shower/disposable shaves in over eight years.

I .....THINK....if I recall correctly , ....since late December 2006 (since joining B&B), I have missed a total of 3 days of shaving..... and I regretted everyone of them. So I have a very strong "Shaving Avg". Prior to joining B&B, I probably shaved maybe 3 times a week with disposable Wilkinson two blade garbage razors with the lubricating strip and whatever cheap can of Foamy or Edge Gel that was 99 cents on sale.

My transformation to how I shave now has been Huge, Amazing, Satisfying, and even now I truly don't understand how my behavior changed so radically. I try not to explain it to too many people because they look at you very much like you are a crazy person.

87%, or 6 out of 7 days, for the past 35 years. All with a blade, except for a electric that I bought in the 80's. Longest I have ever gone without shaving is 4 days.

I did have a mustache once, but that was in the 80's. Anything done in the 80's falls under some sort of general amnesty.

since joining BnB I can venture to say that I have missed 6 days shaving...so I'd go with around 96%

What's your Earned Shave Average?

Starting in July 2006 when my Merkur arrived in the mail, I've skipped a handful of days shaving -- maybe 15, including 3 days when I was in the hospital.

That's about 1005 days. If I shaved 990 times, that's 98.5%.

I started with straight razors in August 2007, and I've probably shaved with a straight about 500 times. (Kinda makes me wish I had kept track, but that's too obsessive.)
