Wow, after switching from my "came with the razor" Merkur blade to Feathers... let me just say WOW :)

I'm BBS today and the confidence is riding high. I'm glad I didn't buy into the "Feathers will lawnmower ur face" hype I hear about sometimes http://badgerandblade.com/vb/images/icons/icon14.gif

i've been working on my feather technique and it's getting better. you just have to be careful. i bled significantly less on my last shave with a feather than on my first one. it's the only blade that gets my jawline bbs. i love it.

I agree. Feather makes one hell of a good, sharp blade.

If your technique is lacking though, watch out.

Merkur is the worst razor blade I have ever tried. All I use are feathers

Feathers work great in my '46 fat handled tech and SS's but they tore me a new one when used in my 39c slant sledgehammer. Depends what razor you're pairing the Feathers with.

Don't know about the hype surrounding Feathers but they work well in my razors. Technique is critical. Now I'll probably cut myself.

I've just bought a slew of feathers because they work quite well for me. So far I like them best in my old-type and my aristocrat. Not so much in my 40's SS... too mild of a shaver so I do more passes to make up for it.

I tried my first feather this morning in my SS. Fantastic! Nice, clean shave--no cuts, no razor burn. Can't wait to shave tomorrow!

Im the rare case that has no problems with Merkurs. They dont compare to the Feather, or other better blades, but I can get a DFS with little problem.

I just took a big jump, thought, into a Feather AC...now lets see what technique is all about!
