This is a pretty nice Puma in a good 6/8 size (I think it's a smidge under, but closer to 6/8 than to 11/16).

The blade is shiny, not perfect mirror finish though, but I didn't use sandpaper so no scratches, just tiny speckles of the tarnish here and there. There's a faint remaining of the High Class logo.

The grind is full hollow.

Scales have been replaced with non original ones with black spacer - fit rather nicely, but they could use some tightening, which I can try to fix if the buyer desires.

Excellent shaver, as pumas are.

The price is $110 includes 1st class uninsured shipping, other shipping options are available as long as the buyer covers the difference before shipping.

A 6/8 Puma on the B/S/T for 24+ hours?!? A sure sign of the apocalypse.

LOL, this is true. I should start shaving few times a day before doomsday comes
And I noticed I mistyped the size in the title. I guess I'll add another picture with a ruler, so that it's more than clear what the size is.

a new pic for any reason, is a good idea in my opinion!

Sure, here's the picture, but this razor is not about looks, it's about how it shaves . At least for me the later overshadows the first completely.

I can't believe this is still here, and a 6/8 at that. Hard to find a better shaver than this. And from a seller as reputable.

Bump it up.

You new straight shavers that are looking on ebay for a razor need to look here instead.

Thanks John.

Well, what can I say, this is a bit surprising to me. I actually expected that this one will sell a lot quicker.

They are not cheap even on ebay and for a 6/8 you're likely to pay a bit more, in addition to having to clean and hone it.
Mint pumas seem to sell for about 250 or more, so I think my asking price is rather reasonable for a pretty nice looking one.
I haven't decided yet whether to lower the price slightly or just keep it for now. I have 5-6 pumas, so I thought I'll decrease them a little bit, but there are plenty of other razors which I could use for trimming purposes.

All I would say is that one puma beats two double arrows, wapis or dovos any day of the week

Very tempting! Free honing for life with this one? :tongue_sm

This is a joke, isn't it? A hundred dollar 6/8 Puma, still available? A new Dovo stainless will set you back more and that is before honing and shipping.

Actually I don't mind at all for my best razors to come back for a visit, but I believe everyone should learn to maintain their razors. I'm happy to rehone it initially, but you know, there's the whole fishing thing :)

BTW somebody asked me in a PM if I could tighten the scales and that's done now. The blade is now tight and pretty well centered.

PM sent. I would be willing to allow visitation if I can send my teenage daughter to visit with the razor.

LOL, you don't want to send your daughter along or it may cost you the dowry too  or is that your plan... i do hear teenage daughters have their way to drive you insane

Anyways, yes, this one is SOLD, and I hope the new owner likes her as much as I did.

Thank goodness the insanity has stopped.

I wasn't experiencing any insanity. I was just trying to work a deal where I could possibly swap the teenage daughter who eats like a horse, always wants a ride and who sits in a recliner watching TV while texting on her iPhone.

I put her on a plane to Boston this morning. Oh yeah, try not to upset her or take the remote away, she has a black belt in karate.

Now you've got some real insanity coming your way!

Hahaha...makes me glad I have two boys (er, actually young men now).

If you are the one who bought the Puma, congrats!

I recently bought a 6/8 that needs a little TLC and I can't wait to try it once I get it shave ready.
