Just recently received my sample pack of red pack personna's and absolutely love them in my fatboy and futur! I was on my third shave today with my futur and felt it pull a little. How many shaves do you normally get out of those blades? I know alot depends on your beard. My beard is not unusually heavy but I do have healthy growth. I would appreciate your comments.:001_smile

I get 5 shaves out of each blade, but the fifth is a bit rougher than the rest.

As with everything...YMMV.

Each face, beard etc are different and thus, you will get different results that me (most likely).

Nevertheless, because of cost and availability...its my "go-to" blade. I wont bother with another sampler til I'm through my 100 IP blades.

This is my blade of choice -- I get 5-6 shaves/blade.

+1 YMMV, I usually get about 3 out of a Red IP. 4 at the most.

I always toss the blade after 3 - period - for any brand. As cheap as these blades are - why try to eek out the extra one or two shaves?

Because at some point this "hobby" was supposed to be cheaper than Mach III shaving dammit! LOL Just kidding.

I've spent more on shaving now than I ever did on Mach III shaving and I dont really care...I'm enjoying it which is all that matters.

I get two shaves from these blades. At ten cents a blade, I find this to still be much cheaper than a cartridge.

5 or 6. 6 is pushing it. And as cheap as these are, there is no point in pushing it!

I have quite a course beard and generally get 4 shaves per blade if I shave everyday.

3 shaves and i toss them out. Remember that most us go through multiple passes each shave, for me each shave is 3 passes and a little touch up.

+1...at 10 blades per pack that would be 30 shaves.....

For the Red IP's I do 3 max.... Life is too short for bad shaves and c'mon they're like 10 cents a blade.

Three shaves max, but I usually toss after two. Five cents a shave works for me.

The RP is my favorite blade for the Merkur 38.

3-4 shaves the same here, maybe a couple more with a glass hone.

I go three on ANY blade...seems to be a good point at which to switch for a new blade and keep things nice and sharp

Maybe I'm just cheap. I can easily get 5-6 out of the RP's and have gotten as many as 12 shaves out of one blade.
