i'm curious if anyone changes blades in between razors? i sometimes put aside a razor for a few days or weeks after shaving once or twice w/ it. can i then take the blade out and into another razor or not. just wondering.

Yes, quite often. With a quick hand strop in between.
I like to see how sampler pack blades perform in different razors. Rotating a blade between them is the quickest way of doing this.

I've never done this.
Blades are cheap, readily available, and intended to be disposable.
You can or you can leave it in. Depends how you want to do this. I prefer taking out the blade to make sure that it won't rust. You can leave it in and re-use it if you think it's all right and without rust.

I usually use a different razor every day (a consequence of raging RAD) - rather than trying to juggle a number of razors that have blades in 'em (a pretty picture, eh?) I've recently started swapping out the blade from today's razor into tomorrow's. (I rarely use a blade for more than two shaves.)
Works for me.

I do this in two situations --
If a new blade seems unexpectedly rough in a particular razor, I will immediately switch it to a different razor to see whether it is the blade itself or just a mismatch
If I am test-driving a new-to-me blade and just want to judge how it works in different razors

I've done it before. I usually just use one razor for the five shaves I get out of my Derby blades, but sometimes I'll use a different razor for one shave just because I feel like it. In that case, I won't use a new blade, but just swap the blade for a day. I tried filling all razors (I only have 4) once, but found it hard to keep track of how many shaves were on a given blade.

Same here. I like to give any new-to-me blade at least two shaves to prove itself. If it's really bad in one razor, I'll go up or down in agressiveness depending on what I started with to make sure it really *is* a bad blade. If it's a really good blade, I try it in another razor to see if it can match or better it's performance in another razor.
I don't move blades between razors. They live and die in the razor they wind up in.

I don't like keeping blades in different stages of use, I just use the same blade until is time to give it the deep six. I also like to remove it at the end of the shave for a through rinsing and put it back in the razor for next day's shave.
A blade will normally last me between 5 and 7 shaves, more if I happen to use it every day, as opposed to skipping a day or more for whatever reason.
