Hey all,

I'm looking for a blade that is equivalent to the legendary Feather in smoothness and even sharpness if possible, but not necessarily in price.

I guess I'm spoiled by buying the Derbys for $16/100 and promptly re-selling them. I love the Feathers, but at ~$7/10, they're a little too expensive I think.

I can get a very nice shave with the red Personnas, but the shave isn't as smooth or as comfortable as the Feather.

Does such a blade exist? Thanks!

You can get older-production (I think) Feathers from Pauldog for much cheaper. Sadly, the only blades I would compare to a Feather for sharpness would be a KAI, and those are almost as expensive.

I love Feather blades and they were awesome until I used KAI and I fell in love :)

Buy the Almighty Feathers from Pauldog ... his price of 25 cents each + $1.50 shipping makes this a blade you can use once or twice and throw away.

The only downside to his blades ... he sells them loose. Not in a dispenser. So if that is a problem to you, buy one $7 pack, and refill the dispenser as often as you want to. You can also refill the dispensers from Derbys, Crystals, etc. The Feather blades don't care what they're housed in.
