I am patiently waiting for the UPS driver to deliver my Progress. In the meantime, I thought I would rely on the collective experience of you guys to decide what blade I should try first when the Progress arrives. I have a collection of Derbys, Gillette Yellows and Feathers. Which would be my best bet?
In keeping with the YMMV mantra, I like Gillette Yellows for my Merkur HD, feathers for my slim adjustable and Derbys for my Red Tip.

Best thing you can do is rotate through all the blades you have to find which one you like the best.

Hi Dave:
Thanks for the advice. I know everyone's face is different and therefore blades work differently for different people. However I am still interested in hearing other people's experiences with various blade pairings with the Progress. I agree though...ultimately I have to experiment and see what works best for me.

Since the Progress is adjustable I find that it work well with all the blades I have which include IPs, Derby, Feathers and Bics.

That's good to know. BTW, my Progress has not arrived yet but I am already eyeing your custom wood knobs. You do great work!
