Purchased this razor from eBay and just got it in the mail today. I don't know how well it is going to shave, but it is definitely one of the most well engineered pieces of shaving machinery I have ever seen. Too bad Colonel Schick gave up on wetshaving razors so quickly.

There are two of those local at an antique store, I played around with it, and it looks like you open the bottom, put the injector blades in(outside of the injector)

They had a blade magazine that fit in the bottom. I'll have to hand load a blade to use it.

I have one like yours. In his "Schick Injector Razor History, Development and Identification Guide" Appleby refers to this one as a Type C2. I also have a Type C3 and an older Type B1 in silver plate. One of the Type C's did come with a new magazine of blades and there is an empty magazine in the Type B1. I'm still looking for a Type A which was in a round, rather than square case.

Col. Schick's company was called the Magazine Repeating Razor Co. It is said that he was influenced by the repeating rifle and decided that there was no reason that you couldn't design a razor with a self loading magazine similiar to the rifle. These razors were the fruits of that idea.

If you aren't familiar with Mr. Alan Appleby's site and you would like to know more about the history and the various models of repeating and injector razors, here is a link . . . http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm

Tom

Here's a NOS of the "simplified". Additional information on the shaving collectible web site, choose "Schick" under the "type" drop-down menu:
