Does anybody know of a decent facial moisturizer that fits the following requirements list:

1. Affordable (cheaper is better)
2. Doesn't cause acne
3. Doesn't smell horrible
4. Is readily available

Something non petroleum based would be a bonus but as long as it's not vaseline or standard jergens I'm cool with it (note if jergens sold a face moisturizer chances are I'd be cool with that too even).

Aveeno seem to satisfy your needs.

I've been using "Jason Natural Products Aloe Vera 84% Ultra-Comforting Moisturizing Cream" that a lady at Whole Foods recommended to me. It's about $9, and I liked it so much that it's the only thing I've been using now. It's really soothing. Plus it's all natural. The only thing is it's not as accessible as the usual drugstore brands (Eucerin, Aveeno, Nivea, etc.) that may also fit your needs. But if you have Whole Foods nearby, you should give it a shot.

+ on Eucerin, not super cheap but it's so good that you don't need a whole lot.

Cetaphil also makes a great mostuirizer.

In the winter I usually use Eucerin and in the summer I'll use something ligther like L'oreal for men or something like that.

Also give Cetaphil gentle cleanser a try! It's an awesome product!

Bodyshop maca root and nivea for men sensitive. I prefer nivea as it is cheaper and more easily absorbed.

Nivea looks like a good go to moisturizer. 6.74 at a local drugstore and it's got SPF 15 to boot. Hopefully those bottles last at least a few months as it would keep the cost per daily shave down at those ultra low numbers that are possible even with feather blades (not that I have any).

+1 on a diff moisturizer in the summer. I probably will want to find something that won't make me look like an oil slick when that time comes.

EDIT: I almost forgot. I don't have a wholefoods nearby, but I do have a natural health store in the vicinity. I'll stop by there sometime and see what they've got.

I really like the Nivea for men (revitalizing) lotion Q10.I worked out doors and the Nivea really helped with my dry skin and razor burn.Plus it is SPF#15

+1 on the Nivea for Men Sensitive. It is cheap, it smells good (but not strong at all), works great, and is readily available. I use it after a splash of witch hazel, and my skin is looking quite a bit healthier looking. :thumbup1:

Corn Husker's Lotion works pretty well for me. It meets most if not all of your criteria- it's less than $3 at Wal Mart, and at least on my wife and I causes no acne. It advertises there is no oil in the product, so perhaps that is it. The only hang up might be the scent- some like it, others don't. It's mild enough that I find it fades very quickly. If you like the performance but not the scent, you could always spice it up with your favorite essential or fragrance oils. The scent they give it is very subtle to my nose, and is probably easily covered.

I also use the cheap Vasaline (or store brand to save more) brand of moisturizers at Waltonia, but they can be a little oily. I hate that. They have a variety of scents that are generally mild. I only use them when I have really dried out my skin somehow.

Well I ended up finding that I had a spare tube of Avon men's active sport... man I LOVE this stuff... too bad they discontinued it like 2 years ago...

I found it after I had already been shopping at the drugstore though. I got two fancier ladies face moisturizers with SPF (and NO tint or frilly smell) as one was on clearance, and the other (I think it was olay something...) was 6 ounces for 12 bucks vs 2.7 ounces of Nivea for 6 bucks. Time will tell if they work okay... I'll report back when I stop using the awesome sauce Avon stuff.... I'm still peeved they discontinued it. I used to just use a moisturizer occasionally, but with the DE shave I think it's best to use it after every shave.
