A bottle of Arbios 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon... Mmmm, mmmm, good! And that ain't Campbell Soup! What could go better with a 7 ounce Top Sirloin?

Tonight, I have the greatest indulgence of all. An evening with my 10 and 12 yr old daughters! Nothing better!

This St Amant is a find. Great 2002 zinfandel with a bouquet of blueberries and cherries. Zesty, spicey taste! Great with steaks and rib roast!

I'm down here in Monterey for Turkey Day, and went to one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the world (I've praised it on this board before), Fresh Cream.

That meant a "Peculiar Martini" which is made with Hendrick's Gin, which is infused with Cucumber, and has a very.... peculiar cucumber taste. The Martini is garnished with a crisp slice of cucumber, which complements the cucumber in the gin, and tastes absolutely outstanding after finishing the Martini.

With dinner we had a bottle of Joseph Phelps Insignia, 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon (I would've taken pictures if I didn't think I'd be escorted out of the building shortly thereafter). This wine was outstanding, very smooth, and really opened up to produce hints of currant, chocolate, and oak. It went perfectly with my tender, succulent, flavorful rack of lamb (now that was an indulgence).

Dinner was a glass of Dow's 1984 port (I think it was Dow's....).
