Gentlemen,

I have searched, but found only two (older) threads, both rather inconclusive. Has someone tried these recently? What is your opinion?

Thank you,

M

Compared to CVS blades, they're much better.

for the most part, the older the better (not too old though).

chinese schick blades in current production are pretty damn good IMO.

While two blades can't be taken as representative, I ordered some Schick-branded blades from an online retailer along with some other drugstore type items and I've gotten really good shaves out of them. While the package did not say "Made in China" anywhere on it, I do believe that I'm using the Chinese-made blades.

Gentlemen,

if I can judge according to the answers, there appears to be some reading comprehension with my inquiry.

Thank you for playing everyone, though.

The Rite-Aide injector blades are surprisingly good (IMO) - however, the injector case is crap as previously mentioned and I also had blades stick together.

It should be buried in the paragraph on the bottom left on the back of the package.

Never tried the Rite-Aid blades. Never even seen a Rite-Aid store. I use the Chinese Schick injector blades though with great results.

I use the Schick injector blades (Chinese ?) in a Schick '50's HydroMagic with very good to excellent results. I'm impressed with both razor and blades.

Next I plan to cut down to size a Feather ProGuard or Pro blade and give that a try. I've read where several guys say this combination gives consistantly good BBS shaves.

Have you cut down to size a Feather Razor "Pro Guard" Blade for your Schick injector? How did it go? If it was a success, will you please instructions on how you did it and installed the blade in the injector razor?

I ask because I am a newbie and am looking to get the best out of the Schick injector razor. I bought two with bakelite handles on ebay for $10.00 and love the razors size and handling. It is perfect for shaving around a beard and mustache. I started with CVS branded blades and hoped that there are better blades available. The plastic case makes ejecting the old and injecting the new blade difficult. Also they seem to get dull after only 3 shaves and I have a beard so shaving area is limited. I had my first shave today with the Schick branded blades and the process is much better. Easy ejecting and injecting. Good shave with first use of blade. I hope to get 4 good shaves out of each blade. Only time will tell.

They are really hiding the made in China on the verbiage on the back of the package. If the copyright is 2007, the made in China should be hidden in the paragraph somewhere.....If it says copyright 2005, the made in Germany should be pretty clear...If neither date, you have some really old stock.....

Why not "too old". I have NOS Schick and Personna's and they work great.
