Anyone Know How to Tell a Merkur 34c HD from a Merkur 178?

I just received my eagerly anticipated package from West Coast Shaving and discovered that the Merkur box I was expecting had 178 marked on the outside instead of 34C. Thing is, I can't tell one from the other, so I don't know if I have an HD that was in a 178 box or they sent me the wrong razor and it's a 178 in there. The razor does not seem to have a model number on it. Is there a way to tell which one it is?

Pretty sure they are one in the same. There was a thread about this a little while ago.

I was just informed that they are the one and the same. It's a sweet little razor, whatever it's called.
