I picked some up from him, they arrived last night. Just wondering if they are super sharp, or rough, what to look out for. Are they good in the Lather Catchers or other Gems, or just for the Valets?

you can use them in the lather catchers. my elite gem jr. set came with its original blades, neither of them having spines.

I loaded one into the Lathercatcher last night, normal prep, C&E Sienna cream, using the BBB. Standard (for me anyway) 3 pass shave (W-X-A) with some touch ups. I must say the least irritating shave I have had in a long time. Of course one could contribute that to using the blade very gingerly and gently. But all in all, I would recommend this blade as one to try especially if the others are sketchy for your face. This was the first shave for me with these, so I don't know how many shaves they are good for. :thumbup1: :wink:
