So I have a Kent military brush that I like and want to get something that I can use when I am out and about...was looking at a Kent comb but was wondering if I should go with the standard style pocket comb (one side bigger teeth the other smaller) or if I should consider a "folding" comb...I kinda think the folding combs seem effeminate?
Here are the pictures:

Don't most gals use brushes? I like the folding comb as it would help protect the teeth from breaking.

I have the standard one. It's the best comb I've ever had - if you get one you'll never go back to the cheap plastic ones, the feel is so different and so much better. I'm sure the folding one is great, too, but can't comment on it, never had one. Get both.

I have a Kent 2T myself and I also agree that they make some great combs. As far as a pocket comb, I'd say give the regular 0T a try. The resin these things are made from is pretty tough. You would really have to beat it up to break a tooth.

Thanks, so you have the folding one in the picture? as for the comb, if they cost locally what they sell for online then I am not worried about breaking it as it is still under $10

No, the 2T is just a regular one like the 0T. It's just a little longer and narrower than the 0T. If you haven't already, check out Shop Londons (http://www.shoplondons.com/kent-comb-men.html) to see the full range.

Hah, I came to B&B today to look up info on Kent combs, and here it is right on the front page. :w00t:
I'm curious, for those of you with Kent combs -- do they actually seem to create less static than cheapo combs, as the website suggests, or is that just marketing?

Yeah, the static is less with a Kent comb than a cheapo. But if anti-static is your goal I wouldn't buy it just for that purpose; a horn comb is the only comb I've ever found that is nearly static-free. Nonetheless, Kent combs are very nice.
