i have similar cases for my 1900 gems, but they are black leather.

Have you noticed how the Gillette Blue Blades stick out of the blade holder? That is just how far a DE blade will stick out of a holder designed for SE blades. I think this case and it's blade holder may well have originally been for some SE model or another.

That grain on the leatherette doesn't look familiar to me. The latch is similar to what was used on some of the ASR cases that I have, but not identical. I have a feeling it wasn't from an ASR razor, but that is just my best conjecture. :001_smile

actually, after looking at what i have, it closely resembles case no. 18 for the "new gem" safety razor 4 blade set w/ the upgraded moroccan leather case.


of course, this is a HUGE longshot considering it looks like its in amazing condition.
