Not sure what happened but i moved in only after receiving the following message from PJ
"Hey Ram,
The brush is yours if you still want it. Let me know ASAP, two other people are behind you. Thanks, PJ"

maybe it was a technical glitch.
I sent a pm about the Chubby 1 that was up for sale yesterday, then I saw it was sold to someone else this morning.

Looks like the Seller brushed by the first interest... hard to believe he didn't:
1) See the thread's progression and the post time/date showing order of interest
2) Receive ameet's PM but did receive Ram's.
Sucks when threads turn out like this... hope you guys can work it out.

No I think my Pm's were received before anyone else, PJ has confirmed that.. it is just the PM message center sorts by Newest first, so mine was missed but he is aware now that I was first in line.
I am sure it will be sorted.

Let's not jump to any conclusions, it's possible the seller missed the PM, it's possible the PM never got to its destination, it's possible the interested buyer closed the PM window before hitting send -- who really knows?
Just a brush folks  -- there's always another deal coming.
Regards.

Guys,
The situation has been explained to me by PJ. I believe him.. a genuine oversight and he is looking into a resolution.

I'm locking this thread - no need for any comments from the peanut gallery on this.
I trust that the parties involved can work this out like gentlemen.
I gotta pop in and merely add - there is no rule/promise that the first person who sends a PM will necessarily get the item. There have been occasions when i've received several PM's after listing an item and sold the item to someone who I knew very well, and was long time buddies with, over the first person who shot me a PM, and I didn't know from Adam.
It's one thing if the seller commits to selling you the item - then sells it to someone else... but there's no faux pas in selling an item to someone who didn't PM you first - for whatever reason. Selling it to the first one who PM's you is one of those assumed rules...
