I have read the forums and researched it and still don't have a good idea of what it even is. How is it different from regular wetshaving? I don't need a long explanation, just tell me what it is. Thanks.

It's an exact recipe for getting the perfect shave. Check out mantic's method shaving video.

Just a quick one to say a big hello and Thank You to the mighty mantic for his youtube videos which got me through the first tricky weeks with my first razor a year back .... mind you i am also very jealous of the sink in your bathroom ...i never cared about sinks till i watched your videos !

Not gone totally method on the soap yet but trying to stick with the passes directions tho i often get small rough patches around the adams apple area and right under the jaw line . All said its still so much better than multi blade razors ...maybe i best sign back in to youtube and look at cool sinks again

Cheers anyhow Mantic !

I shall give it a read burnwood ! how long have you been method shaving then, and does it differ greatly in results for you compared to a DE and quality shaving soap then?
