This is a new acquisition, and to my mind, it may be the ultimate SE razor. The Ever-Ready Streamline Set with razor, stropper and strop. Made in England. All NIB.
The razor is very heavy the finish is chrome and the quality of the workmanship is just superb.
Here's a picture of the razor (I cribbed this from a post by bpope62) he called it an Ever-ready Jewell.

Very similar to a GEM G, perhaps a bit more aggressive. And so, the answer is it sure does.

I'd agree with that - slightly more aggressive than the G. A very nice razor! It is the most solidly constructed razor I own.

Damn, I think the G is far too aggressive if you just slightly offset your shave angle. That must be a slaughter house!

Gabe,
I shaved with the Gem G this morning - a new blade, three passes, the last one against the grain, no blood.
For me, the difference is 1) proper technique and a light touch and 2) giving up the Pella blades for GEM Blue Stars.
The Ever-Ready Jewell is only slightly more aggressive than the G - they are actually pretty close.
Regards,
Bob
