well, first 'straight' shave of sorts today

Used a Shavette on the cheeks, bottom chin/neck area, and center of upper lip.

All I can say is I LOVE the difference. These are reportedly far less sharp than an actual straight blade, and I experienced almost no irritation on my folliculitis-laden neck area. Hardly even had to go XTG...

Congratulations on your shavete experience. It's always nice to get a decent shave (sans bloodbath :001_smile) with a new razor. I hope you plan to move to a regular straight razor as you continue. The regular is a different animal still, and matering it will also give you a sense of accomplishment.
