55

What are you in the real world?
Oracle DBA

What is your favorite shave setup?
Merkur Classic

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
Tennis, hiking, enjoying fine bourbons, cooking (and eating!), reading, high performance personal computers, high performance database systems (at work), super sport motorcycles, digital cameras, movies, music, electric guitars. I enjoy lots of things, this list could go on and on.

What else should the members of B&B know about you?
I am married and have two sons, a tenth grader and a third grader. I have always wanted a Ducati motorcycle, but at my age, I will probably never have one. If I could be anything in the whole world, it would be a major league baseball player, preferably a big-hitting third baseman.

Thanks, everyone. I think I've learned more in two days on B&B than I had altogether in the previous 4-5 weeks, since I got interested and started on wet shaving.

I was pointed here from LeisureGuy's blog, which is also a wonderful source.

Welcome to B&B Tim. I am afraid to ask, but how did you earn ratcheer?

I was trying to think of a unique screen name a few years ago. All of a sudden, an auditory image came into my mind of my grandmother, a south Georgia girl from many years ago, saying, "Sit down, right here", except when she said "right here" it sounded like "rat cheer". I have used it ever since.
