On my third wetshave I got it right. The prior two were better than ever using a mach3 (as far as irritation and closeness). However, I still felt a little discomfort on the neck, going xtg and it showed after. During those two I used a slim (Israeli red), the first shave was with mama bears creme brulee and the second with tobs avocado. The third time I switched some things up. I used a Fatboy (Israeli Red) with a superlather of mama bears rosemary mint and proraso. I want to attribute my best lather so far to the good shave, but I know I cant give it all the credit since I switched razors too. I can still put it this way though this was the first shave I had where the head of my razor didn't want to skip on my neck. So for my fellow newbs, if you haven't had a comfortable wetshave yet, my recommendation is work on your lather.

Congrats! It's all about your prep and lather. Get that right and you can get a comfortable shave with almost any razor, even a Mach3 I dare to say.
