Can a thread title be edited?

I apologize if I really should be able to figure this out on my own, but I cannot find how to edit the title of a thread: can this be done?

I know that individual posts can be edited fro several days, but I don't see any box on that editing page to alter the title of a thread. I thought I saw this done when someone inserted "SOLD" into the thread title in the Mall forum.

The Mod in the specific forum that the tread is posted in can edit a post.
Go to the forums Tab the mods are listed on the right column.

Um, you can edit the title of your own post. Click the edit button, then click "Go to advanced edit"

You can edit the title on that page.
