Howdy.

im slowly assembling my travel kit for a trip im taking at the end of the year (and it will be quite a thing too, with a large selection of different creams and colognes). I dont know what im going to use as a strop though. I guess newspaper .

What do you gents use as your travel strop?

this here (http://www.shavingshop.com/index.php?item=69&ret=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shavingshop.com%2Findex.php%3 Fpage%3D1%26category%3D37) paddle strop, it is 12"x1 1/2" overall and the bonus is one side came prepasted with chromium oxide the protective sleeve the part with the name on it in the picture (not the plastic) covers up to the handle, the only drawback is since it is small I find I need to do more laps then usual if I am using the smooth side for final stropping as I would be when traveling

Paddle strop from Tony Miller ... 3" wide so plenty room to strop the whole length of the razor.

again - too big for my travel bag (im trying to keep it all contained within).

im leaning towards finally picking up a tony miller 3" Heirloom Artisan Red Latigo Strop (for home) and the $7.50 practice strop for travel. Cant afford it in time for this holiday though :(
