Setting Schick Dial Injector

Just had my first shave with the Schick Dial Injector set on 3 and loaded with a Pella. I had a 4-day beard so it started not that easy. Ended not quite in a BBS but few to none alum sting. Any advice or experience on the settings of this injector?

Also got a load of Schick Ultra Platinum blades coming. Stored dry. Any good?

I never used the Pella, but the ultra platinum are great. I personally like the dial set on high with the Schick and work ATG.

I have my Schick Dial Injector set on "5" and that seems right for me. I tried it on a 3 and it seemed a little too mild from what I wanted. Im using some generic injectors bought from Rite-Aid, not sure who makes them.

I would suggest moving the setting up a little and see how it treats you.
