Picked up this adjustable last week on ebay. Checked with the post office this afternoon and I should have it on Wednesday.:001_rolle I haven't shaved with an adjustable in years. Looking forward to it!:thumbup1:

The question is did $6 Dave only pay $6 for the razor?

The slim adjustable is a superb razor. I have several, put one up for sale, it didn't go right away, I withdrew it from play, its just too wonderful a razor to part with. Adjustable and all, I keep it set on 3 and use it as my final pass, E-W/W-E across my neck.

My slim adjustable was waiting in my mailbox when I got in from work this afternoon. I purposely did not shave this morning in order that I might shave with the new Gillette tonight.

I set the little puppy on 3 and away we went. On first impression, it seems the optimum angle for the Gillette is going to be a little different than that of the Merkur.

I got a very nice shave...not BBS, but nice. It felt really good to have an adjustable Gillette in my hands again. I'm very pleased with it.:001_smile

Very, very true. Stick with the slim for a couple of weeks. It's like learning a new language. It takes time, but soon you'll be fluent in both TTO and non-TTO!

Just got my slim a few days ago. Started on a 3 myself. Very happy.
