hey everyone. ever since i was a kid i always thought that getting a shave and a haircut in a barbershop was cool. its where i used to get my buzz cuts and flat tops. of course i couldnt get a shave i was young but i thought when i get older thats what im gonna do! i couldnt wait! well to make a long story short im not a barber and i cant use a straight razor to shave because i get real bad razor burn, even with a tripple blade razor. so i do not shave with a straight razor but i have recently started collecting them and am going to broaden my collection through the years including all barber shop supplys. its still my dream to own and work in a traditional barbershop and mabey someday it will come true. untill then ill just collect the things i want inside it. heres a couple of picts of my razors i have purchased. i dont think i payed more than 15 bucks for any of them and there in pretty good shape. but then again what do i know? a couple of them i liked for the look. my two favorites are my shamrock(wich i bought cus im irish) and my robert klaas prussia(i liked the carved handle). hope you enjoy. any advice you all can give me would be great. anyway, have a good day and nice to be a member.

Those look pretty good. If you took some time (and a little money) you could make those shave ready and looking a lot nicer. For the looks somly buy some metal polish, in America Maas ssems to be the favorite. If you want to sharpen them buy a Norton 4/8k combination stone and check www.straightrazorplace.com for instructions on how to use it.
