Good morning...
Im looking for a good deal to pick up 4 new Merkur HDs (they are the 34c right?) for Christmas gifts. So far I think West Coast Shaving has the best price unless anyone can point me somewhere else.
thanks! :biggrin:

Oddly enough, The Indian Food Store (http://www.theindianfoodstore.com/merkur-hd-straight-safety-razor-with-bar-chrome-finish-34c---178-.html) has them for $27.99 with free shipping for orders over $79. No experience with this vendor.

I think you have found the best price on the HD at West Coast. Shipping charges are pretty cheap also.

I have had great experience with Lees Razors. That where I bought my HD and Futur.

My vote goes to westcoast http://westcoastshaving.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8&zenid=fa8a71b6928d17344504bf5e9e873126 for a couple of reasons:
1) His prices are good;
2) You can order some blade samplers or bulk blades to make some DIY samplers for your friends at the same time - John stocks ONLY the tried and true blades (no crappy blades for the sake of bulking up his samplers);
3) You can order some soap or cream for your friends;
4) John (the owner) is a mod here and, in addition to all the time he donates to B&B, he created the blade sampler and routinely handles shipping/break of bulk for B&B group buys (such as the BBE and the pending Irish Moos group buy) at cost - which saves our members a ton of money.
My $0.02.
