Hi,

Been DE shaving for about one month now and still having problems. The main problem area is my chin. I do, what I think, is a decent prep. Wash face (hot water). Wrap face with hot towel for 2-3 minutes. Face lather with top end cream and do 3 passes (only 1 maybe 2 WTG on the chin). My chin still breaks out in small raised red spots (sometimes with yellow heads, yuk) and red patches.
MEN! I need your help and quick. What should be a sublime experience is turning out to be not very pleasant. I can't take it on the chin anymore!

HELP!

That's why I wear a goatee...

Maybe try using a lot less pressure and more passes?

I put my hair conditioner on my beard while I shower and rinse it off right before I get out. This seems to soften by beard enough to get a close shave on my chin and jaw line.

Good luck!

Try different passes.

The yellow heads / white heads might be due the freshly shaved skin getting infected. Try using an alcohol based after shave, might be a little extra on your trouble spot. As always let the weight of the razor do the work for you and dont shave over an area without lather. Let us know how it works out.
